For Sale: Injen CAI for 99-00 Protege 1.8L

For Sale:

Used Injen Racing Division cold air intake for the '99-'00 Mazda Protege with the 1.8L FP-DE engine. $100 + $10 S/H

Injen Part #: RD6065P

I am selling this because I traded in my '99 ES for a Mazda6. On my old 99 Protege ES, this intake added 5hp and 6.2 ft-lbs (Injen R&D dyno, e-mail me for scan of dyno).

All parts are in good condition. The polished aluminum has some water spotting. The cone filter is intact, although it needs a good cleaning.

This kit is missing two rubber parts: the vacuum hose that mounts to the valve cover, and a rubber coupler that connects one side of the mass air flow sensor to the Injen intake. Both parts are available from Injen or they can also be cheaply and easily made... 2" length of 2.75" ID (inside diameter)rubber hose & 10" length of 3/8" ID rubber hose (approximate measurements). Also, some hardware is included. Most of the nuts and bolts used for the installation are from the stock intake as it is removed.

This kit was the original prototype, installed by Injen. Therefore, I do not have any of the installation documentation. However, installation is pretty straight-forward.

New prices for this intake hover between $230 and $260. eBay prices usually hit $200. This is a great price! First come, first serve. Payment can be made by personal check, money order, cashier's check, or PayPal. I reserve the right to verify availability of funds before shipping.

Please e-mail for pictures of the intake system. jstand6@yahoo.com

Price reduced to $80 shipped.

If there are no takers by this weekend, I will place on eBay. I am getting tired of tripping over it. :)
