Purchasing from ebay.

I went on ebay and did a search for protege and I found alot of stuff for the pro. Some of these things were used of course but some were brand new for alot cheaper than if you were to purchase them from some site.

I just wanted to know if anyone knows why this is so and if there's anyone who ever got ripped off on ebay.
Either they purchased something and never got it or purchased something and just wasn't satisfied with the product because it seemed used and you knew the purchase was new.

i buy stuff on Ebay all the time. I've been ripped off once. I bought a "new" cd player and when I got it it was a broken used cd player. I reported the seller to my local branch of FBI and within about a month I had my money back and a free used cd player.

Being outside the US will make it more difficult for you to find sellers who will ship to you for a decent price. Just make sure to read and understand EVERYTHING. Also, print off the auction screen when you bid in case there is a dispute later you have the listing to verify how the item was listed.

Hey thanks for the info man. That was very helpful!

I'm not worryin' too much about it bein' shipped out of the US though 'cause I'll have the stuff shipped to address within the US, then have it ship to me here in Trinidad.
It's gonna work out cheaper for me that way.

I'm gonna start purchasin' right away!

Thanks again Roddimus!

no problem. Just keep in mind that you are not a US citizen and the laws that protected me from fraud won't look after you. I wouldn't buy anything REAL expensive...or if you do have someone like me buy it for you and ship it to you.
