Protege Parts Available

I wanted to put up a list of the current parts I have available on the Protege5 Online site. There will be many more to come but this is whats available so far. You can goto the site & read all the info on each item & see the price. The site will only list Protege5 items. If you have another Protege model, just e-mail me what you are interested in & I'll see if its the same as what I have listed or if I have somethign else available.

Injen Race Division intake (available for the 1.6 & 2.0L 3rd Gens)
AEM Short Ram intake (1.8L 3rd gen & soon to be 2.0L)
K&N drop in filter (all pros)
Bosal Cat back Exhaust (I know its available for the Protege5 & in the works for the 3rd gen & there may be a 1.6L available, waiting on a reply)
Ground Control Coil overs (should be available for all pros)
Eibach Springs (not on the site but is available for some pros & soon to be available for Pro5)
NGK & Denso spark plugs (NGK wires available for some pros)
Front Mesh Grill (for the Pro5)

I am in the process of getting light bulbs & possibly considering some sound upgrades. I am still looking for more engine mods (header, cats, turbo, etc) but those will take some time for ones I really want to sell (Corksport has a header but it is really expensive!!) I am also working on new struts, short shifters, & other interior fix ups (pedals, shift knobs, etc) so keep an eye on the site. If you are interested in anything, just e-mail me.

Mitch, what forms of payment do you have available? What is the URL for your site? Do you have on line purchasing set up?
Ther are short shifters available from Pacesetter and B&M for every Protege. There's supposed to be a turbo manifold available for the 3rd gen 1.8L and 2.0L Proteges from Turbonetics. I think you already know about the Bosal header from the MX-6/Probe 2.0L that fits the Protege 1.8L & 2.0L engines with some exhaust work. The only struts I know of are the Espec struts from Corksport and the MazdaSpeed adjustable struts from Mazda Motorsports. The MazdaSpeeds are awesome! Let me know if there are other specific 3rd gen parts you are looking for, cause I've done a lot of research.

I am always interested in 3rd gen specific parts so send them over. If you have any contact info, thats even better. I'll see what I can get. Right now, I prefer paypal payments for the ease & speed but will also take Money Order & Cashiers checks. I dont really plan on having online ordering set up for a while because I think I need to be in alot of the ordering people will be doing. I started setting it up last night but realized that it would take a lot more work since I only list a small portion of what I can get. I try to list the Protege specific parts but there is still tons of stuff I can get. In fact, there is a list of the current companies I can get parts from if you know of anything protege specific:

Wow, that's a nice start. :D

Protege5online October-4th-2001 10:35 PM

Yeah, I've been working hard!! Blue

Eric F October-7th-2001 05:53 PM

Mitch, do you have the AEM intake in stock for my car? '00 1.8L.

MP3-Owner October-7th-2001 06:08 PM

Any idea if AEM will make a CAI for the 2001 2.0L? That is what I am waiting for :)

Eric F October-7th-2001 06:32 PM

I think they are making a short ram system. They said there testing showed no additional gains from a CAI system.

Protege5online October-7th-2001 08:17 PM

AEM is supposed to have a short ram for the 2.0L sometime in the next couple of weeks. And I can get the 1.8L short ram (and will be able to get the 2.0L as soon as its out).
