Metra single DIN pocket/radio install kit

Just going to put this out there to see if anyone is interested in it before I put it up on eBay. I got it when I installed my Kenwood HU, but then decided to revert back to the stock HU for the factory appearance. This Metra pocket is 88-00-9000, made to fit at least the 3rd Gen proteges and P5 for sure. Manual says it will fit Ford, Mazda, Mercury, Nissan, Toyota, and Volvo cars. Just ask me if you want it for an application other than a 3rd Gen Pro and I'll check to make sure it will fit. Has all the brackets, screws, and trim rings. If you're interested, just hit me up with an offer.

Oh, I also have a set of those "Ford Fork" doohickies that I'll just throw in there with the pocket, in case you need them to get your stock HU out.

Thanks Mannydingo!

In addition to those models, I think this may help :)

Replying to my own thread... laaaame! Anyway, any takers on this? I guess if no one's interested, I'll just have to hold on to it in case sometime down the road I end up with a new single din HU... even though I'd really like one of those double din LCD units that plays DVDs and has navigation. mmmmmmmm I love gadgets, even if I hardly ever use them or have the need for them! In either case, if anyone is ever interested in this little piece of black ABS plastic, just let me know. ciao! :)

Hey, sorry I am so slow to respond... always hectic around this time of year :) Yes, I do still have the radio pocket kit. However, I'm visiting the folks and girlfriend in Philly for the holidays, and the kit is back home in State College, PA, so I wouldn't be able to send it out until after the 2nd of the new year. Let me know if you need it. And I'm sorry to hear about your stock HU! How did it catch fire?!

Wow look at me reviving this ancient thread of mine! I can't believe this is already two years ago... anyway, cleaning house and I still have this kit. Any takers?

BTW, since the original post, I don't know what I did with those Ford forks. sorry!

Uh, I think by now it's time to give that thing away for free. I will gladly take it since I can see a future where I will own a 2004 Mazda Protege. I will pay for mailing it, ofcourse. If you send it I will see the cost of postage on the box. I will either paypal you the money, pay by check or pay by money order. That's if you care to give it away. I can't pay for something I can't currently use but I will let it lie around for a few years until I can afford the car. I can only afford cars 10 years old or older.

Thanks folks. This kit is gone!
