Iridium GB
Denso Iridium for any year Protege and MP3 and P5 for $38 shipped. If we get more than $20, will knock at least a dollar off that price. Post here or leave e-mail at jbmperformance@aol.com if interested.

come on people, that price is cheaper than anywhere. Pro5 online sells them for $52 and I don't think that includes shipping. I will extend this deal to anyone, there will be no need to get 20 people together. Let me know guys.

sorry, but $38 for spark plugs. They are not going to do anything more than some spark plugs one can buy at Auto Zone or wherever for <$10
|
Hell if I spend more than a $1 each that's too much.

what's wrong with NGK Iridiums for ~$25 for all 4? Does it have to be Denso? This is just a rip off!

Thanks Gro Harlem for getting my back. I am not claiming any HP gains, but like he said, a snappier throttle response, better gas mileage, and the warm fuzzy you get from knowing your not going to misfire at high rpm's because of lack of voltage is reason enough to spend under $40. I only posted this because I have seen some interest from people on this site and was just trying to pass along a good deal.

The point is, there are people on here that don't know any better. They read these kind of posts and think "I got to have these", "these are going to make my car faster". I don't doubt that they are good plugs but not good enough to warrent spending that much money. Stock NGK's or DENSO's are good enough for a stock motor. I've always used NGK's in my imports and have never had any problems.

First of all, if you go back and read the posts,no one flamed him or accused him of saying there was a hp gain. A couple of members just plainly stated they would not pay that much money for plugs that would not help. If they did, kindly post some dyno charts.I don't call that flaming just some honest feedback. As for your comment, somthing to the effect that "if they blindly buy them thinking there is a hp gain, good ? That's a f---ed-up attitude to have. I thought we were all here to help out others who need it with honest correct info. If somthing is not all it is cracked up to be , we all need to know. We were not flaming him,it's just Iridiums have been discussed before and we came to the conclusion they were a waste of money. In no way am I saying they are not good plugs, just not good enough to warrent spending that much money.

I've personally run about 20psi of boost on a Chrysler 2.2 turbo motor using the stock coil, stock Champion RN9YC plugs, stock cap, rotor and wires with no misfire problems. I'm sure the distributorless ignition on our cars is much better and can hold it's own without the need for 'upgraded' plugs.

its so intresting to see how quickly things get heated on this board. I feel so bad i wish we could all just be coo with each other n stuff. I mean, to each his own but i dunno, whatever i guess.
and for the plugs, i dont need any right now. im not saying that thts not a great deal, but im straight.. |
