For Sale - Polished P5 wheels and factory Dunlop tires

Hey, folks-

I am thinking of stepping up to 17" wheels and stickier tires, for autocross next summer :) . In order to make it more affordable, I am thinking of selling off my stock polished P5 wheels along with the stock Dunlop tires. They are in good condition, not bent, not heavily oxidized, no curb damage. The tires have about 28K on them, but there seems to be plenty of tread left. Never had a leak or anything like that. If I decide to do this, I will throw in the stock (chrome) lug nuts. These would look great on your sedan.

What do you think a reasonable price would be? You pay shipping (between 75-100 bucks, I figure), so don't figure that into your estimated offer.

If I decide to do this, I will post pictures later. Anyhow, please let me know if there is any interest, what you would pay me for them, etc. If no one is interested, I might end up putting them on e-Bay. But I thought I would offer them first to my fellow Protege fanatics, and see if this is a direction I could go.

It's Official - Now my P5 Polished Wheels are FOR SALE...

Guys -

I am going ahead with my plan to replace the stock wheels with larger diameter aftermarket ones. Pictures of the stock wheels can be seen below. Sorry if they are slightly dirty, but I think you can see from the pics that they are in nice shape. Tires have 28K on them, but plenty of tread left (as you can see in the photo with the dime - sorry, didn't have a penny). The tread depth is about 5mm, generally.

Make me an offer. Honestly, I will not be ready to complete the sale and ship them to you for a few weeks, but I wanted to throw this out there now so that anyone who is interested can respond. Remember, you pay shipping costs (about a hundred bucks) so do not factor that into your offer. Or if you live in Michigan or Ohio, maybe we can meet up somewhere to sidestep that cost.

Let me know if you have questions...

Thanks. Hope to hear from you.

I'd be interested if the price is right. I live in Indianapolis. Do you have any idea what kind of money you are looking for? I have an 02 P5 with two damaged wheels so it'd be nice to replace mine.

...sorry it is taking a while for me to get back to you. I am out of town, and have limited access to the internet and the forum. PM me, and make me an offer. I live in the Deroit area. I would be happy to do business with you.
