Thanx for the heads up. Corksport.com lists the engine for the 99 ES but not the LX. Is there a way this engine can be made to fit in a 99 LX?

You'd need the correct motor mounts, tranny, wiring harness, etc etc.

$800 would be a killer price, but I put a $1200 bid and that didn't meet his reserve.
