shoelick...you bought those rims off me didnt you? new and only paid 685 or something..i feel angered that youd try to make such a profit off those rims now

evolv June-9th-2004 09:25 AM

1500 is way too steep. Used Racing Hearts with tires are being sold for around 600-700 (no curbage) and curbed sets for 400 or so.

Good luck

p.s. If you took the tires off, subtract $100.00

MackDadam June-9th-2004 11:36 AM

this is the exact thing this guy told me when he bought those rims off me new. dont buy from him if he is like that

Roddimus Prime June-9th-2004 06:23 PM

wow, $1500 for wheels and tires?!?! I could buy 2 sets of 17"ers with tires for that....however.....good luck.

shoelick June-9th-2004 07:00 PM

I appreciate everyones concerns. Pricing is flexible. PM if interested. Pics available soon.

shoelick June-9th-2004 07:02 PM

FYI - the 2002 P5 I own is being traded in so that is why I am selling these items.

FC3s Boy June-9th-2004 07:15 PM

$1500.00 for the wheels...ha ha ha ha ha that was the laugh i need today...lol (wipes tears from eyes)

shoelick June-9th-2004 09:16 PM

Well, maybe I am going overboard here based on these terrible reactions. I did pay a lot for the tires but I get the point.

If anyone is interested I can go lower. Please PM me.

MackDadam June-9th-2004 10:07 PM

obviously, but still 1500-685..hmm about 800? i doubt you paid that much for tires

evolv June-11th-2004 08:54 AM

Shoelick

Why don't you post pictures and then post price as "Best reasonable offer takes them"

If you don't think the offer is reasonable, then you are not forced to sell.

I personally would love to get a set of Gun Metal RH (in perfect condition) for my winter Blizzaks. Are these Gun Metal shade?

shoelick June-11th-2004 01:32 PM

No they are not gunmetal. I will have pics this weekend though.

Dude.......nobody told you that you had to sell the wheels that cheap. This guy is trying to sell something that he invested in and added expensive tires to. Why does everyone feel the need to coCk block people. If you guys aren't interested that is cool but let the man do his business:rolleyes:

MackDadam June-14th-2004 09:12 AM

i love it when people with 1 post...ha this one! come in here and try to reply. i just have the feeling that shoelick is creating more accts and defending his own ass

I only have one post here because I am busy discussing real stuff over on vwvortex (same screen name....check it out if you like). I like to browse other enthusiast websites and this thread caught my eye and kind of rubbed me the wrong way. If I were shoelick (which I am not) that would be pretty bad if I created other accounts just to defend myself. now let the man do his thing and here is another free bump for him ;)

macdaddyslomo June-14th-2004 10:28 AM

actually some of the posts were pushing it a bit..But i think the real idea is to benefit shoelick...advise him no one will buy those rims and tires for $1500....you can get brand new ones from Mazda for that...I can go over to like 4 or 5 different sellers of rims and get BRAND NEW 17" rims and tires for WAY less than $1500....anything over $800 for these WITH the tires is just too high, and I'm also looking out for my fellow members here so they don't get ripped off by buying these rims so overpriced..."needs of the many", you know ?

It's cool man......you can advise him if you choose to. I am not going to as it really makes no difference to me either way. I'm sure that everyone on here appreciates you looking out for them but bashing someone on a public forum isn't the way to help. Think about that the next time you are selling something because you wouldn't want anyone calling you shady. Who knows....it may be a little late and shoelick may have already given up based on all the bashing. On a different note.....what's up with these cars? I may be looking for something to commute in so I can keep the miles down on my dub ;) Are they reliable??? Fuel consumption???? Thanks in advance

macdaddyslomo June-14th-2004 12:48 PM

Best in Class reliability record for like 10 years straight...I get about 35 mpg.....(threadjack)

supra1641 June-14th-2004 01:34 PM

cool dude.....i'll PM you for more info......lets keep this on topic so i don't do the same crap i was complaining about before......cheers and happy buying

shoelick June-30th-2004 09:20 PM

Rims are SOLD : )

shift knob

I am looking at getting a Mazda3 shift knob and I checked out some websites and the Mazda dealer. What is the condition of the knob, color (black leather with the silver shift pattern?) and how long have you had it? Any pics? Thanks.

shoelick July-1st-2004 08:06 AM

It is in excellent shape. I only used it for 3 months. It is black leather with satin finish. I will post pics tonight. My digi camera is not the best but I think you can see it is nice.

P5ChemDood July-1st-2004 11:04 AM

thanks. look forward to seeing the pics
