F/S 16" Protege 5 wheels '02

$200 OBO

Five spoke wheels are off of a 2002 protege 5. They are 16x6.5 with a offset of +50 (I think). Bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5 or 5 x 114.3. I have pictures of them in a thread over at Rx7Club.com here. Wheels are in the Nashville, TN area.

I don't visit this forum a lot so it may be easier to contact me through the thread on Rx7club or via email at jwfresh@yahoo.com.

K.. I tried to post this for sale over at "www.clubprotege.com" but apparently they don't want traffic that bad. this is what they had to say...

"There's a few different kinds of wheels in the link you provided.

You need to take and post more specific pictures. In the pictures, there needs to be a piece of paper with your username and "Clubprotege" on it.

You also need to have 10 or more posts to sell here.

Thread closed, PM me if you have any questions"

1. If you can't figure out which set of wheels it is... don't buy them. (YES, it's obvious)

2. Requiring me to have 10 posts in order to sell in the parts section is lame being as I don't own a protege and the parts are obviously for YOUR club members.

3. Requiring me to promote your site in my pictures is even more lame & not worth my time since I obviously have pics already. Yeah, I know they are gonna say "We're trying to keep scamming down." seriously though, how hard is it for ANYONE to google and get picture of some crap so they can make a bogus listing on ebay?

I should have known to come here first since I am on both Rx7club and Rx8club... what was I thinking... [/RANT]

man thats a good price.....especially since they look like they are in awesome shape. hope these go for you. id love to have an extra set so i could get them powdercoated. is that 200 shipped?

RoughRex July-30th-2007 10:32 PM

The wheels are in great shape. The tires are a bit rough though. You may be able to use a couple of the tires temporarily but the other two need to go, at least one is showing belt. Just the one of them IIRC.

Nah, that price is before shipping. Sorry for not being specific.

Shipping to Rockford via UPS Ground should run about $60. You would pay exact shipping costs.

The one on top looks nice, lol. Those are the satin finish aren't they? How much for shipping to zip code 99111 (Colfax, WA)? And I wouldn't want the tires, so they should be cheaper to ship.

Yes, they are a satin silver finish. All four of them are in great shape like the one on top. If I priced shipping via UPS Ground the same as before except to you zip and it came out to 24.xx per wheel/tire. That's assuming I put these in four boxes that are 25x25x10 and each weighs in at about 35 lbs. I then priced them thinking without the tires and it came to 18.xx per wheel if I get them in 20x20x10 boxes and each weighs 25 lbs. These are of course just guestimates, I won't know actual shipping costs until they are packaged and weighed for shipping.
