Bumper Tread Pattern (free)
Local dealer sells the nice rubber piece for $31.00. Can find it on the web for $25.00. Form fit with peel and stick convenience.
Thought that's a lot of money for a simple thing you could probably make yourself. Found a nice ribbed rubber 'tread' at the hardware store for $3.99 a foot. Will make a pattern to fit on the bumper (for the hatchbacks, Pro5's), and supply it and a template with instructions to anyone who might want to DIY too. I can send it in a .pdf file if you want. But gimme to the weekend to get it all done. I'll include pictures too, so you can see the process. Your price- FREE. Just let me know and I'll send it out to ya' when I get it done. *Standard caveat applies; if you cut yourself doing this I ain't responsible. If it ends up looking like shit, same story. Information provided as a guide alone, no warranty expressed, written, nor implied. It's simply a five dollar work around. Okay?! |
what and where do these things you are making go, i dont compleatly understand?
but i am interested especially if it is really free thanks |
This rubber cover goes over the top of the bumper so when you take things in and out of the hatchback you don't scrape up the bumper finish.
