Adjustable cam gear

I'm posting this to test interest in a possible future Bulk Buy for adjustable cam gears for the 3rd gen 1.8L FP and 2.0L FS engines. I don't know if these would work on the 1.6L engine or not. Craig from this Protege group bought and sent a cam gear to a ProbeTalk member for possible production of adjustable cam gears. The Protege gears aren't exactly the same as the Probe gears due to the Protege using a cam position sensor. We need to have a realistic idea of how many Protege owners would be interested in an adjustable cam gear for around $150 each. Please only answer this if you would be seriously interested at that price.

I may be interested. Do you know of any more details? Performance etc..

The gears don't actually exist yet, so I can't tell you how well the Protege engine will respond to them yet. If you plan on using Jspec cams or making any internal changes to your engine, or forced induction/Nitrous for that matter, the tuning that adjustable cam gears allow is pretty valuable. If the engine responds very well, you can increase power by adjusting the cam timing, at the least, you can tune the engine for the power curve that suites your driving style/environment/mods the best.

Dude, people cannot figure out difference between CAI and CIA and you are talking about cam gears..:p
I think it's a must, especially with J-spec cam and if I could I would buy it.
