16x7 Konig Traffics 5x114 **PICS ADDED**

These are in mint condition. They were originally white, I had them media blasted to bare aluminum, and powdercoated a medium black. They are a 6 spoke design, similar to 5zigen black racing N1 wheels, and weigh about 16 lbs each. I had these done for my Protege 5, but have since sold the car. These are rims alone, and have not had tires on them since powder coating.

Scroll down for pictures.

Asking $400 plus shipping obo

Please email me at fercbtr@cox.net as I don't come here much.

I also have a set of the above mentioned 5zigen Black racing N1s in bronze they are 17x7.5 with 48mm offset in 5x100. They have a set of half used Federal 595ss tires in 225/45 on them. I had these on my wrx for roughly 10k miles. One rim has about a 1" curb mark, other than that, these are in excellent condition. I'm asking $600 plus shiping for these.

same as above, if interested, email above address

Thanks guys

Here they are...there is dust all over the outer part of the rims, but as you can see, they are mint. And actually after a few years of not seeing them, they're nicer than I remember, but like you said, they won't fit my car. I was hanging on to them for a future project, but they'd serve someone else better.

so how much for those??? and they will fit my car right...

_Kansei_ June-16th-2007 07:50 PM

yeah all Mazdas are5x114.3 nowadays (someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the last 4-lug Mazdas were the xx-04 Miata/MX-5 and the 99-03 Protege LX/DX)

Thanks for the reply...I knew they'd fit on the Pr5, just wasn't sure about the newer models...very nice car by the way! I wanted to go that route with my P5, but with the wife and 2 kids it was easier to buy the wrx, and bolt on like crazy.

Let me know about the wheels, I'd love to get $400 shipped. They are old rims, but they are new too.

Let me know what you think...

Thanks

btw this does not say the size im thinkin 17x6 1/2 maybe but not sure

jzoomer June-17th-2007 10:00 PM

and another question...i have a set of rims im going to use as daily drivers and was wandering how much you paid to have those powder coated

treystoys June-17th-2007 10:26 PM

These rims are 16x7s

About the powder coating, if you must know...lol... it cost me more to have these powder coated than I'm selling the wheels for, if you subtracted $80 from the $400. It was a bit over $80 each to have them bead blasted to bare aluminum, and have them coated. I went to a very reputable shop with these, after having another set of wheels powder coated previously by a different shop, and payed $40 per wheel, what I found out the guy did was just go right over the original wheel color, within a few weeks it was chipping away.

So really if you figure I paid about $150 per wheel a few years back and another $80 a wheel to powder coat them, I have roughly $1000 into these, and they saw very little use.

Just make sure you ask the shop your considering, to media blast the rims before coating them, and they'll be alright.

ttyl
