Opera developers contacted YouTube and optimized the youtube flash video player code so that it wouldn't bog-down on the Wii.

I downloaded but haven't used the non-beta Opera web browser on the Wii yet. One of my roommates uses it all the time on his Wii and he said it's hugely improved.
