Your favorite sport ???

Ok guys.......let's see what the Protege owners like to do in their free time, besides working on their cars:D

what is your favorite sport ???

mine......by far it has to be Soccer............BY FAR.......

it's the biggest sport in the world, although many people living in the US don't even know the rules of the game, which I find to be sad......

track and field

TRACK AND FIELD!!!!!!! :D :bt: :D

I've been competing in track since grade 7. I long jump and triple jump. In 2001 I competed for Canada at the World Championships in Edmonton and I went to Beijing China for the World University Games.

TRACK and FIELD!! WooHoo!! Gotta love individual competitions based on the basics of human movement, running, jumping and throwing.

I love tonnes of other sports but I'm totally biased to track and field.

Wow, there's 'soccer' players in here :)

I'll take soccer, for 200, basketball for 200, and hockey for 100.....

Baseball, here's 500 to you, just don't make me play/watch it hehe:p

mazdaspeedwest March-14th-2002 02:01 AM

Motorsports..by far #1
Hockey
skateboarding/BMX
MTB biking
pool/billiards

drinking and smoking fall sub catagory to all sports :p ...only drawback to this and Motorsports, is that drinking is done at the END of the day...unless your spectating...

our MTB ventures REQUIRE a desinagted driver....he's the guy who gruels with the backpack full of beer

Yeah...Formula One kicks ass...............Senna was good.....I remember I was so pissed off when I found out that he crashed and died.....

Sir Nuke March-14th-2002 09:54 AM

geeez, it took someone long enough to say RACING! :D

which is MY #1....specifically Drag Racing.....I just LOVE to see the "big boys" run in person....if you have never experienced personally watching a Top Fuel car run the quarter mile....you have NO idea what you are missing....TV does NOT do it justice. its so awsome when these suckers crank up an estimated 5000 hp motor...and EVERYTHING vibrates...and I mean EVERYTHING...the ground, the stands...YOUR INSIDES!!! and in less than 5 seconds...and over 300 MPH later they are gone into the sunset....

on antoher note....I got into Austrailian Football MANY years ago...ESPN, at one time carried it live here in North America...all the games were on like 3 or 4 am...lol...I just taped them.

Baseball is another one up there on my list.

1 - Mountain Biking
2 - Climbing
2 - Snowboarding
3 - WRC (just to watch)

It's a tie for 2nd, cuz i do my climbing in the summer and my boarding in the winter...

If anyone ever does any biking in the Kananaskis area - Lusk Trail and Jewell Pass are among the best trails you can hit for good technical and awesome downhill...

Soccer's cool to watch, but nothing beats watchin a WRC race on Speedvision baby!!!!
