I don't have any idea what y'all are talking about, but keep talking. Its interesting I wish I could build my own computer.

 

Dell isn't nearly as bad as Apple. Apples even have proprietary SCREWS!

I certainly agree that large OEMs have their place in the market. Just not in the market where I shop

 

I know less than many of you about computers, but I have owned my Compaq for almost 4 years now, and while it's out of date, I have been able to upgrade just about anything I wanted to.

RAM, sound card, video card - Compaq even supplied me with a BIOS update allowing me to [finally] run Windows XP (I had issues with it before).

It's not the fastest or the greatest by a LONG shot, but as far as reliability, I have not had any issues whatsoever.

The NYT is a very thorough newspaper, and reported what he was wearing at the time of the arrest:

"Mr. Curtis was arrested at 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, after he bought a small bag of marijuana on the Lower East Side, the police said. He was wearing a navy blue plaid kilt, a tuxedo jacket, beige knee-length socks and black shoes, the police said."
