where does "scooby" come from?
 

was just talking to a friend while waiting for my shifter and bushings to be installed.

what or where does the name "scooby" for an Impreza come from?

my friend recommended --> "Subbie" (short for subaru) sounds like --> Scooby ...!?

theres a lotta nicknames for subarus themselves and WRX's.
personaly i say scooby and rex.
