I think the stupidest thing I ever did was take a can of silver spray paint to the hub caps of my 94 and a bunch of other accesories... I didnt wait for them to dry all the way and when I put them back on they ended up with finger prints all over them Classic huh? LOL

door tacos for dinner

I used to solo race datsun 510's back in the day, and i had just bought a new one to rebuild. It was sitting in the garage and the guys came over to check it out so i backed it out. Being a "tough guy" i reved it up and dropped the clutch. But i hadn't closed the door properly and it had swung open. And perfectly lodged on a 45* angle into a 2x6 wall joist. You can figure out the rest of the taco story.

Well, this wasn't me perse, but I was driving home today from visiting my parents house. I was going up a mountain-ish road with two lane passing for my direction. I was following a Firebird Trans-Am, who was following a Jetta TDI, we were all going about 75 or so.

.....

I passed the guy later on (very slowly as not to **** him off), and he had his girlfriend in the car... What a douchebag, some people don't deserve to drive!
I hate that!!!!!!!!!! >:O People get right behind as you're passing a truck, and you put on your signal to get out of their way... and wait until you're safely out of the way of the truck (remember their blind spots?), but before you get over the asswipe decides to pass you on the right cutting the big rig off, not realizing the truck driver can't see **** down there!

And people get on your tail when you're doing 85... I'd love to go faster too...but man I wouldn't get too pissed stuck behind somebody, as long as they're doing the speed limit, and not in the fast lane. I mean you can't expect somebody to go faster than the speed limit for you

This probably qualifies as one of the stupidest... oh god

It's really hard to read (at least for me). I wish it had more punctuation / indentation, etc, so I printed it out. But man

Page 4 has pics I think

Well, nothing stupid in the pro (6th car) yet
1st car, chevy Monza, got it stuck on a parking tie in McDonnalds after a homecoming football game in front of everyone from H.S.
3rd car, 280zx, lost it @ near 100mph around a curve and T-Boned the center divider of highway. Left about a 30foot streak in the wall for years as a reminder.
4th car, 325BMW, stuck in the snow blew rear from shifting from 1st to reverse over & over. Turned the rear into a spool.
5th car, Jetta, couldn't see out the back (high rear deck) and backed into a BIG but low piece of concrete about a week after getting the car.

Took my first ever car on a joy ride (79 Cougar, that thing could fly). Ended up taking a corner too sharp and drove over a culvert, I ended up ripping off the oil pan and the engine blew. Good way to get rid of a car though!!!

Once I was driving down a freeway, racing with this girl I knew. I had just reached 110mph in the right lane when I looked behind me at her (had just passed her)... when I looked in front of me, I noticed this car in my lane (they had just merged).

I hit the brakes too hard, locked the wheels (no ABS), started to swerve to towards the concrete divider past the left lane, and slammed into it sideways... then swerved back to the right lane again, going through center lane traffic.

I was unharmed... not a scratch. But I did about $2,000 worth of damage to my mom´s car. That in 1992. Long time ago.

Stupidest thing that I've done NOT in my car was racing these two girls in a corsica in my parent's old tempo. They went out to pass someone and then I went to the FAR left to pass them half on the shoulder half on the road (so think of it like this one car in the proper lane, another car trying to pass it in the oncoming lane, and me on the far edge, of that lane half on the road half on the shoulder) when the girl driving the corsica moved overon me so I had to move over to the left really quickly, causing me to spin out, going back and forth across the road a couple times, before flying off the road, hitting the far side of the ditch on the right lane, bouncing off the side of said ditch, narrowly missing a telephone pole, and landing neatly on the shoulder of the right hand lane about 100 yars down the road from where my skid first started. My friend Conor couldn't open the passenger door because the frame (unibody) was bent to **** and I think he ended up climbing out the window.
That was in 1998, and my parents were out of town at the time. I was on my way back from my cousin's house after picking up a bag. The cops were there and "my tire blew out".
My parent's were actually happy that the car was written off cause they got more for it than they were planning on selling it for and they used that for a down payment on a brand new car.
That was in 1998 a week after my brother's wedding and you can still see the marks faintly in the side of the ditch where the back of the front fender well
scraped the grass out .

after a holiday party in the middle of nowhere on a very dark street - made a U turn in my wife's minivan right into a deep concrete hole of sorts. Embarrassingly, i re entered the party and gather around 20 guys who helped me push the car out. Man was my wife upset. Mininimum damage to the undercarriage.
