What kind of nozzle do you use?
What kind of nozzle do you use when you wash your car? Like is there a better one to use?
|
almost every time i wash my car. i have lost the stupid nozzle so i would say thumb is what i use the most. but i really like the shower one use mostly in the garden. but not me.
|
On my bottle of Meguiers car wash it says to use a flow of water and not a spray. A flow of water will leave less water on your car making drying easier.
Thats what the bottle says so thats what I do. I have a garden nozzle that is almost like not having a nozzle on except it makes the flow wider. |

I"m really lazy... I have my dad come out and turn the hose on and off when I tell him to. :D It's like having your own personal slave. I'd make him wash the car too, but I don't want anyone else touching my pro. ;)

Y'know it's a shame that all Pontiacs have to look so much like........Pontiacs.
IMO, Pontiac has the butt-ugliest cars BY FAR in the US. They were even able to fukk up the poor TransAm (before it got killed completely). The new GTO might be sweet - too bad it'll still look like a Pontiac. BTW - Jeff, LOVE the Deeetroit P5. I can see Kid Rock pimpin' in that mac-daddy already....cool Photoshop job! ~HH |
Thanks HH, making the DeeTroit P5 was fun. Ya know I was a car crazy kid in the late 60's and and 70's and Pontiac always had the sweet designs. One of my favorites in high school was a buddy of mine's '70 Trans Am with a Ram Air III and a stick. He could wallop my auto 340 6-Pack AAR Cuda in the straights and the twisties every time. Of course he was on one of the first sets of Radial T/As anyone had seen and I was on Goodyear Polyglas GTs. Good times back then and I would love to have a copy of either of those cars now. Today Pontiac has just gone overboard with styling cues that I don't like at all, inside and out.

Pontiac is doing a 180 in the next 2 or 3 years, bob Lutz is taking over...

Well, we'll see what those cars look like when they hit the street.
Problem is, as I see it, they think that they get brand recognition with the front end, the grille especially. Like BMW with the "dual kidney bean" grille they've used for years. Problem is, Pontiac IS recognizeable - but in a bad way. The carryover of design cues from one model to another defines the brand, but unfortunately, the design cues are UGLY (just my opinion). Even that Soltice has the Pontiac cues in the front - and those cues just turn me off immediately - guess i'm just not a huge Pontiac guy (modern Pontiac, anyway - gimme a 60's or 70's Goat or TA any day!) ~HH |

Plenty of people use them between the hose and the connection at the house, but you can just as easily spin it on the end of the hose - no more walking back to the house to shut the water.
