What do you think??

I found a kit that consists of a 2 ton jack and an impact wrench that run off your cigarette lighter. The jack has a clearance of 5.5" and the impact wrench comes with 4 different size sockets.

I was thinking some of you might be interested in something like this for races and car shows. To go to a show/race in your street tires and then be able to easily change to your race tires or to jack the car up and lower the coilovers, etc.

Would anyone be interested in something like this and what would you expect to pay?

If you're going to run an Impact Wrench off 12volts you may want to look into a MityMite. Its a device sold @ Sears thats used for jump starting cars mainly, its a sealed 12V battery that has a lighter plug that devices can also plug in to. Depending on the current draw this little device can run things for hours if not days.

it might not have enough power to run take some bolts off and **** if they are tightly on ur car. Some ppl have a small air tank that can get plugged into the cig lighter and have a normal impact wrench w/hose comin off the tank.

the 12v impact is a lot different from one that runs off compressed air. the 12v one, you press the trigger, and it starts spinning. after a couple seconds, the inertia then hits ONCE. and air impact is like many times a second, a 12v is like once every 2 or 3 seconds, and not near the power of the air. it is really weird the first time. also, an air impact you would press pretty hard against like a lug nut. with the 12v, you kinda hold it loosely against the nut so the inertia wheel can spin freely. a good lug wrench and a breaker bar is a lot better
