I know that we don't discuss current events to often on the board in the off topic section , but this incident occured yesterday in Brooklyn ny and it really bothered me because I honestly believe that it was uncalled for and these innocent people had to loose their lives due to this As*hole. I will post the articles , although a little large in size it is mainly so you all can ready the article and I will remove it once the topic dies down a bit ...

ok , I honestly feal that this person should get the death penalty , anyone that is wreckless enough to be high and on heroin(SP) and then to top it off on the way to get more drugs deserves it ..... I don't know wheather you guys agree or not , but I just think that 3 people maybe 4 have lost their lives , and even if the baby lives his life will still be afftected greatly by not having a mother present in his life , and why cause of this person's wrecklessness.... I do hope some of you guys respond to this with your responses, I saw this article and immediatly though of my protege buddies who I just felt should know about this ... .. so just take a minute and respond on your thoughts of this subject ....

This is horrible

And this post should be read by the guy I "flamed" in the other thread because he thought it was right to try and run fron the cops in a residential area.

Death is too easy. Let him rot away in solitary confinement, Let him think about he did.

What was that movie where they the technology where the perpetraitor had a chip inplanted to replay the last minute of the victims life through the victims eyes in their mind?

What a sad, sad story.
A couple/few of my friends that I grew up with overdosed and died on heroin. That shit is the Devil! Did you know that Brad Nowell, the singer for the band Sublime OD'd on heroin from Santa Cruz(my hometown)? If you know anybody that you even THINK is on that crap, do something! Confront 'em and tell them how stupid they are being. They usually go down like this:
Start drinking beer/smoking pot(which is OK in my book)at parties and after school.
Get really drunk and have some idiot talk them into doing coke
Get hooked on coke and start smoking/slamming it.
Get so high on coke that pot won't take them down anymore
Start smoking herion
Get sucked up
Start shooting herion
Die
If they're lucky, they won't take a bunch of innocent people with them, like that guy did.
So please, don't hate that kid who got caught up in that shit, he'll pay dearly for what he did. Hate the heroin dealer he was going to see! HE is "dealing death" and is a piece of dirt that should locked away forever. IMO

As the days go by, I think I lose more and more faith in the human race. I can't believe there are people still trying to get these drugs legalized (no really, there are, they think they have a strong case). I think the guy should definately die, I have no sympathy for people like that. Also, I'm sick of this death penalty appeal for 25 years bullshit. I think it's in China when you're sentenced to death it's carried out almost immediately, and your family is even charged for the bullet. It's brutal, but I'm sick of these fucks getting to live their lives (albeit sheltered lives) when they took life from other people. Inexcusable. If I had no morals, I think I'd be a good vigelante :)

The death penalty for this guy would be too nice. Luckily he'll be a freak for the rest of his life. I heard on the radio that he lost his arm or hand and part of his face. Good.

Bruce - I got caught in the traffic from that wreck the other day trying to get home from working in Brooklyn - I must have sat on Atlantic Ave for 45 minutes, and then no matter what alternate route I tried, everything was jammed up. I did however, see the wrecked Jeep - OMG it was horrible.

This guy should rot in hell for what he did. They should sew up his asshole and just keep feeding him.

On smack, runs down two women and their children, kills three of them. His charges so far are: Murder, leaving the scene, and driving under the influence. There isn't enough time left in his life to make up for what he has done.

On a side note, the day that accident happened, I was working at Long Island University in Brooklyn. The day before I was there, ONE guy held up TWO armed security personnel who were refilling an ATM on the campus. He took their guns, fled through the school grounds to a parking lot behind the campus (where I parked the next day ;)). He then carjacked a woman at gunpoint, and sped off. The cops can't find the guy - he got away with about $75,000 in cash. You shoulda seen the security at the campus the day I was there - tighter than a nun's box......;)

It's a crazy world out there - and the Dept. of Homeland Security just raised the national terror alert to "orange" for "high risk of terror attacks". NYC has been at orange since Sept 12, but only once has the entire NATION been there since then - that's Sept 11, 2002.

Be careful everyone.

Wow, Funkdaddy.... with a name like "smack", I thought for sure you were a champion for the needle and the spoon...
The accident is horrific, and I am sure justice will indeed be served.

I don't think too many folks actually want to legalize heroin or cocaine (marijuana, yes, but not the opiates, etc. But, if heroin were legal WOULD this have happened? Who knows.). Much controversy stems from the laws regarding possession/use of drugs, where studies have indicated treatment is a much better alternative than enforcement/incarceration. Especially given the fact we spend billions on a "Drug War" which, by all accounts, we've only lost ground.

Being on drugs, in this instance, is no different than if the driver were drunk. The crime he committed is the resultant behaviour of driving while intoxicated. Manslaughter was committed, regardless of causal circumstances (in other words, one shouldn't use intoxication as an excuse, either). And while drugs played a role here, similar accidents occur elsewhere involving drinking, prescription drugs, and, even senility or old-age for some events. To me it makes no difference whether the individual was stoned or sober, you are responsible for your actions, period.

ZoomZoomH February-7th-2003 04:28 PM

i vote for solitary confinement for life with no visitor allowed

the withdrawl from all the drugs he took will kill him soon enough

or use him as human guinea pig for medical experiments

fuck the bill of rights, this guy DESERVES cruel and unusual punishment :mach:
