i second the ass-tek....damn ugly cars. but if u put like, a cannon on it it would look cool. mad max cool... :p

My vote is for the Pontiac Aztek... followed in close second by the Honda Element (not on the list.)

I vote Matrix/Vibe. The element is pretty ugly too, and the new civic, and 95% of GM's lineup. And then there's Kias Toyata's new Scion line is ass ungly too...The Aerio...Damn there are alot of ugly cars out there...

I think its almost unanimous.
I think however that rather than putting a cannon on the Asstec, it would look better if you perhaps shot one with a cannon, several times.

the echo is pretty ugly.......but i saw the hatchback echo that's coming out in canada that's pretty nice looking....all in all if there's one manufacture that constantly puts out ugly designs it would be a tie with hyundai and Subaru.......they have come out with some nicer looking designs lately, but even the nice designs look like there's something slightly wrong..

The upcoming GXP line of cars from pontiac are looking very sleek, including the bonneville, grandprix, and I think grand am. I really like the new GTO, too. Sunfire is even looking better, but still pretty fugly.

I sat in the Grand Prix at the Detroit Auto Show. Absolute shit on the inside. It's like they found the 7 cheapest materials available and randomly strew ALL OF THEM across the interior. Poor ergonomics also.

IMO the Honda Si is sweet as shit. Its not even close to being ugly.

But the Aztec has to be the UGLIEST car EVER made.

I've seen a few Civic Si's on the road, they're ok. The type-R pics I've seen (from japan obviously) look freaking gorgeous, especially in white.

i find that the sizuki ario wagon is the ugliest...but the ass-tek gets my vote too

I can't pick one out of those. They are all ugly to the same degree. If I had enough money I would buy every single one and blow them up all at once for everyone to see and rejoice.

My friend bought a honda element. It is not a pretty car, but he rather looked at functionality. Especially considering that he has just got a dog.

Up close looks similar to a mini-mini van...

But Aztek is ugly beast.

Good selections on the poll, I would have put 3 of those (asstek, stepped on civic, toy-car echo) on a poll. I don't mind the beetle, I think they did well for capturing the beetle spirit whilst updating the vehicle. My girlfriend's cousin has a yellow aztek, ugliest moving wreck ever. I also hate avalanches, w/ all of their cheesy plastic siding; the escalade ext looks much better w/ matching body panels. The new sunfires are homely, and also that car they call the suzuki areola, blah.

Actually, I heard a funny rumor that a couple of Pontiac/GMC dealers in the DFW area were threatening a lawsuit to STOP General Motors from sending them Azteks. Apparently, the company kept slipping one or two unrequested Azteks in with shipments of other vehicles, and the dealers were losing too much money trying to get them off their lots. :rolleyes:

Of these, the Aztek easily is the ugliest. I think the Honda Element is the worst though. :barf:

I sorta like the element, it would look a lot better with body colored trim though, like the element extreme or whatever it was at one of the auto shows.

That new Saturn is ugly as hell. I can't remember it's name right now. LIttle help??

The Ion. IMHO it's a little odd looking and misproportioned, but I wouldn't put it in the same class as an Aztek.

The Aztek isn't just ugly, it's historic ugly. Early 60's Studebaker sedan ugly. Datsun F10 ugly. What was GM thinking anyway? :rolleyes:

Same here. I like it too.

I didn't like it at first, but it quickly grew on me.

The Echo gets my vote. That thing is horrible:barf:

I also thought the Saturn Ion was ugly, looks much better in person though. Except for the interior! :(

I like the Toyota Scion or whatever it is coming out, it looks like a huge box... but a dope ass one, at that!!!! :)

IMHO the new accord sedan is one of the ugliest looking cars on the road. The rear end is fugly!

Definite vote for the Aztec.

On a similar note to the "slipping them in" on deliveries, I read that many dealers are parking them with the tail almost touching a wall, so that any potential customer has less of a chance to see the rear end before maybe test driving one :)

Not that the front end is any better-looking.

The Element has grown on me, too, surprisingly. I still hate all the gray plastic body panels, but it's kinda cute in the same way an ugly child can be cute. And it has loads of utility and some truly great features. I must admit, if I were shopping for a work/play car now (which is what my P5 is), I would at least test drive an Element.

I can't stand the Cadillac EXT and Lincoln Blackwood pickup thingamagigs. The clash of "luxury" and "pickup truck" makes them wholly unattractive to me.

BUT YOU MISSED THE UGLIEST OF ALL TIME!!!
