Has anyone else heard that toy is getting in to Nascar?

If they do one of the req's is to produce a car to the public,,,,so what is it going to be? is the supra coming back out?

with the tundra v8 in it?

(sorry my love was with toy's before mazda, and there's always a warm spot)

Well how can ford and chevy run then with the taurus/monte carlo? Neither of them have factory V8s in those cars.

I don't really follow Nascar, so I don't really know the rules.

Yeah right, say hello to Toyota's Nascar racing Camry. :(

Toyota V-8 Stock Car: The International Stockcar Alliance announced that veteran driver Mark Dilley will be racing in the upcoming 2003 ISA Exide Racing Series. The Barrie, Ontario resident will be driving a Toyota Camry, the first driver to do so, not only in ISA competition, but in North America. The first to drive a Toyota V8-powered Camry in North American stock car competition.

More Toyota Stuff: Just say the word 'Toyota' in the Winston Cup garage here [Dover], and you can feel the shivers. Yes, the Japanese auto maker, even though it has yet to put a truck or a Winston Cup car on the race track, is already scaring the heck out of NASCAR regulars. Not just because they believe that Toyota's racing department is willing to spend money. Not just because Toyota has some good engineering talent.

i guess your right about the camry thing,,,but i don't really think that a v8 camry is really anything to laugh about,,,,,,toyota has the money and the tech to do alot of things,,,imagine if they put one of those on the road,,,,,

I've always wanted to see a pushrod V8 Camry with a 4-barrel. No wait, I haven't. Lets invite one more automaker to compete in a racing series using 60's technology. I could care less.
