right, you need to create 2 threads about oil that you sell from your own website.... ?

onehawaiian June-22nd-2003 11:23 PM

didn't see the thread.
probably wouldn't buy the stuff.
but apologies are hard to offer, and it seems even harder to receive.

It's not a question of whether or not you were trying to share info or not, it's that you shared said info and then tried to sell us stuff. Have you ever thought about the benefits of owning a high quality set of encyclopedias??

One more thing, I'm currently doing reseaech on a magnetic strip you can stick on your forehead and it will improve fuel consumption and hp in whatever car you are driving by over 500%!!!! It says SUCKER on the strip.

I don't know why y'all are being so hard on the guy. Yes, he was wrong by advertising his website that sells the Amsoil. I agree with that. But he also tried to explain about Amsoil. If some people have done research, they could find that using synthetic oils like Amsoil, Mobil 1, etc. can increase HP, lower fuel consumption and increase engine longetivity. But everyone wants to bash him for what he did wrong and not look at the good parts of his posts also. Was he spamming? sure, maybe a little, but you can see by his post count, he is unlike some other run-and-gun spammers that never come back here. Perhaps if he became a registered vendor and then offered some type of discount on the stuff, y'all might not be so hard on him, huh?

^^^ the above is good, OR... u could take the apology at face-value and let it go.
i mean, it's not like he took our money or nothing...
on most boards, apologies are rare, often given by those who like the board and wish to stay...

me thinks it's all good. :)
