Someone used a pic of my car
 

someone stole a picture of my car to use on their ebay auction for mesh material. I don't know weather to be upset that they used my pic without asking, or be happy that I did a good job on my grill and they wanted to use it to sell their product:dunno:

well thats not nice to use people pictures without asking, but thank goodness its someone with a good ebay rating. You dont want some ebay scam artist using your pics and ripping people off.

everyone on E-bay has a "good rating"

if you actually read the ratings, they are are exactly alike. its garbage! you cant trust any good ratings on ebay

Someone 'borrowed' a pic of my car before also but they linked it directly off my server when they did it. I noticed it in the URL logs. I replaced the picture of my car with a VERY obscene picture and gave the new picture the same name as the one they were linked to. It stayed on their site for about three days until they finally noticed it. It was some personal site about his friends, family, hobbies, etc.. It was good for a laugh.

So where did you get your mesh originally? Cheaper or more expensive than what the guy's selling? I guess I will not trust pics on ebay ...

Well I gotta say, the diamond mesh does look good on your car. I guess he thought so too. So where did you get it from?

I hate people who use pics that does not represent their product.

I paid $40 for it at pepboys (made by APC). That was before I had a computer and knew about ebay (yeah, I got ripped pretty bad). His picture of mesh looks identical to the stuff I bought, and his is a bigger piece! But I actually took off the black plastic honeycomb and hollowed out the shell, rather than laying the mesh over the honeycomb. It took like 10 hours total, but well worth the time.

hahahahahaahahahahaahahah!!!!! I got my mesh for $6 at home depot!!!! you can either buy the rain gutter grate like i did or if you want exactly like the diamond mesh at pep boys you can get huge 5' x 5' sheets at home depot also(its harder to work with though)

I'm WAY out west near the dragstrip (US27). I live off 208th AVE and Pines Blvd.

That's what I was thinking. Expanded metal sheets aren't that expensive.
