sheesh Barry. I know what thats like. I had half of my face torn off on a dirtbike. Even that doesn't sound as bad as what your wife went through.

Hmm...think I got you ALL beat....I had heart surgery last month....they had to cut a CHUNK out of my pericardium(sac around the heart) to insert a tube into it and drain fluid off...tube was about 1/2" wide.....had it in for about 2 days...they gave me darvocet which absolutely nothing for the chest pain....next came the tube removal....surgeon came in and snipped one suture, placed a peice of gauze over the tube and with one clean "******" jerked it out !!! I almost passed out from the pain.....took me the whole month to heal...now I got a nice red/pink scar on my chest but I'm all better now

When my wife saw them pull the tube, SHE said she aint got nothin on me, and she gave BIRTH to a 9lb boy with no epidural

Wish I woulda got a flu shot myself...I have had the flu for like 3 days now and I am so up and down...one minute I feel fine then all of the sudden I have no energy and I'm feverish and sweating bullets

Army still gets shots.

And yes, the handful from basic training were quite painful.
