SO whats up?

Damn I havn't been here in a while. WTF IS UP WIT YA'LLS?

How come it's so dead in here?

macdaddyslomo September-14th-2006 08:57 PM

i dunno...all the past drama still haunting us i guess

Roddimus Prime September-14th-2006 10:24 PM

quantity vs quality ---- I choose quality everytime.

True enough, but still, 10-12 regular posting members (one of whom doesn't even own a Mazda any more) makes it pretty tough.
And I still don't know what happened to Karen...

Yeah well....You guys need to blame Juan for that....

Otherwise I'd be driving a turbo'd track monster right now....

but in Florida I've come to understand the draw of good 'ol american muscle...nothing like 300lb-ft of torque and rwd and a long straight flat road ahead of you to make you smile.

wtf good does the great suspension do me if all there are is long flat straight roads ???

Florida is like one GIANT drag strip....

and you can't do posi-slides in a FWD car either

kargoboy September-15th-2006 12:48 PM

Natey, LOL at the pic.

I don't blame you, Mike, I can see the appeal. Lotsa twisties around here, though.
Anyway, someday I'll have a RWD again. I've got my eyes on a few Cosworth Vegas that I'd like to turn into an N/A monster. Not a V8 but still a lot of fun.

Angels8 September-15th-2006 03:17 PM

I will have to agree, Florida is one huge dragstrip. but yeah this place has gotten kinda quiet :(

Roddimus Prime September-15th-2006 05:07 PM

without me around so much it started quieting down. That means either I talk to much or no'one has anything else to say.

kargoboy September-15th-2006 05:34 PM

10,067 posts what do you think?

Nah, seriously, our quiet forum has become even quieter. I can't afford another freebie intake
raffle and that only worked temporarily.

Although cablemirc appears to be at it again, so maybe we'll get one or two refugees back from clubp.

macdaddyslomo September-15th-2006 05:53 PM

we have all kinds of members....but VERY few post for some reason

KrayzieFox September-15th-2006 06:49 PM

It doesn't help at all that members that used to post a lot in the past aren't around anymore either...
Personally, I love hangin out on this forum. There's no flaming for the most part, people are helpful, we have Natey who provides us with infinite hillarious pictures, and the list goes on ...

Roddimus Prime September-15th-2006 07:50 PM

yeah. I think I made a thread like this a while back pointing out the pluses and minuses of this forum. IIRC the minuses list was very small.

slayer4u September-16th-2006 10:13 PM

I frequent mazdaforums and imazda and I'm still a Thug on mazda323performance. I check in at clubprotege and mpvclub too. I keep forgeting about this place with all the others I'm on. BTW clubprotege broke up bigtime after Dave (Cablemirc) screwed everyone out of several grand. He suposibly sold the forum to two differant people after that and they whent though this board of directors election then dave came back and took over everything. So now MazdaRacer (One of the members he suposibly sold the site to) started a new forum called imazda (International mazdas www.imazda.com)

I'm mostley over on msprotege aka mazdaforums now but they whent trough some administrative issues too. funny how the bigger the forum the more the problems.

Roddimus Prime September-16th-2006 10:19 PM

yup yup. yet IM considered the bad guy. Neat how that works out huh?
