Site Problems

Is it just me or is anyone else having problems with this site?
Ever since the URL changed to mazda3club, links don't work sometimes,
my posts don't go thru the first time and even though my bookmark was updated, when I click on it, it brings up a two-day-old version of the site.
Weird.

Jackelope May-20th-2005 11:39 AM

I've noticed wierd stuff too, like having to log back in after i'm alread logged in... and post saying they haven't been read...

Phantom Cruiser May-20th-2005 11:45 AM

Yep...and I posted something about it in the moderator forum too...

Matty Mooling May-20th-2005 11:47 AM

Yeah, I was going to start a topic like this today.... I've had trouble with my posts going through, so after a couple days of that, I just made sure I copied my post before I hit post, and if they dont go through, I hit back, click paste, and click post again and it works...I also didnt get any update E-mails and the site has all together been kinda slow....too bad it had to change to mazda3club...Hopefuly it gets fixed!

oh whoops haha i didn;t even realize the name changed... tehehehehe

awww *sniff sniff* gets jhonny blue out...

*spills some on da ground* das for u the legendry protege....

*drinks rest of it*

so, why did the name change to the Mazda3 club? I think the highest percentage of cars on the forum are Proteges. And, I think the most heavily modified cars here, again, are Proteges. No offense, but drastically more space in the Mazda3 section seems to be devoted to which oil to use, which fuel to use, which wax to use, should or should I not buy one, etc rather than actually getting grease under the fingernails. IMO, the heart and soul of this forum is modding cars, and the vast majority of the thousands of members we have drive Proteges.

macdaddyslomo May-21st-2005 08:07 AM

:withstupi....My sentiments exactly. I think however the aim is to attract more Mazda 3 owners to the site..Harder for newer Mazda 3 owners that are ignorant to the fact that the Protege is the 3's predecessor(sp?)...

QWKSILVR02 May-23rd-2005 12:39 PM

Oh, got it. Yep I'm slow! :wee: :wee: :wee:

scotty878 May-24th-2005 06:50 PM

Back on topic, the site for me today has been bad, when I first come on it says the newest post was from like the 17th and its now the 24th, I just click on "Protege Club" at the top and it works than, but still annoying, eveything else has seemed ok though...

Phantom Cruiser May-24th-2005 08:29 PM

I buh-leted all my old pclub links and now it works fine!

hughes412 May-25th-2005 08:12 AM

The other thing that slows it down for me it this sites certification or what ever it's called. The privacy report worning goes off every time i log in.

BOOSTD 7 May-25th-2005 12:56 PM

Sorry for the hassle guys, really. I've just had so much going on lately ...

I did just send the mass email making the announcement that the active URL is now www.mazda3club.com I'll also be changing the logo at top, and some other things to make it work right.

The good news is we're on an all new server cluster, killer hardware. And we have a whole slew of applications being developed for this site and the rx7club/rx8club.com sites.

scotty878 May-25th-2005 02:10 PM

That kool, I can deal with the little problems for now if it will be better down the road!

slayer4u June-12th-2005 08:09 PM

WOW shit has changed since I was here last. I couldn't figure out why protegeclub.com wouldn't work.

The guy's at clubprotege enlightened me to the new name.

Anyways I'm back.
