Simota Intake Raffle
 

In an effort to spawn more members and traffic I am donating a Simota Intake to be raffled off on this forum.

It will be one of the following intakes (depending on which vehicle you own):
Mazda 3 Twin-Charger CAI (this should also fit the 5), Protege 2.0L CAI or 1.6L
SRI.

There is no money involved, no donation asked. The shipping will be included.

The only rules are you must of course register if you are not a current member and you must post in this thread only once to be eligible. Multipe entries will be deleted.

The goal is 50 entries and will hopefully include some new members. The intake will be awarded on June 23rd but only if we reach 50 entries. The raffle will otherwise continue until the goal of 50 entries is reached.

I'll be in on this! Sorry I never got back you in the other thread, the ones sold out and I didnt feel like spending $160 on the CF one, shoulda posted something....Ya snooze, ya loose I guess...Anyway, count me in for this!

No prob--I had the one CAI left but had to save it for the raffle. Matty and I have been discussing how we were going to do this for a while.

i guess you can consider this an entry for the raffle...but its more a bump for gary for delivering a good product. i have the 2.0 cai and its awesome. thanks for the products gary. back to the bump....people need to get in on this.

Count me in. Actually have been wanting this intake myself so let the posting begin!

Just so everyone knows Gary is graciously donating these items out of his own pocket in an effort to grow this forums user base. This speaks volumes about 2 things:

1. Garys dedication and generousity

2. His desire to see a forum he likes to prosper.


If you appreciate people like this who are helpful and giving please stick around and post. We do what we do here to provide a clean, friendly place for people to exchange car tips and info. This only works if people contribute and stick around.

I understand that other forums are busier and have more "FS" or "GB" threads. I mysel browse other forums when I'm looking for parts but THIS is my home here online. The people here are mature and respect each other mutually.

If that's the type of place you'd like to belong to throw your hat in the ring for an intake and make some new threads. Chat with some new people. Ask some questions.

I'm in. This is a really cool idea, BTW. If there is a high enough interest, I would love to see something like this on a regular basis, like on the other forums. A $5 or $10 entry fee may bring a few extra bucks in for the forum owners as well (I know how much bandwidth costs).

Haha, we've already decided Ryan doesn't need the money. That's why I didn't ask for any!

But if this forum is going to survive we are going to need an active membership base. I can afford to do this because I'm not making any money on the stuff I'm selling yet anyway. Promoting the product and getting one into someone's hands who might otherwise buy an AEM or something is just as valuable to me as selling one.

Thanks for the link Tstar, I forgot that I was already a member here. I realized that when I tried to sign up. I found it wierd that "D-rock240" was already taken, then it said my email was already registered. LOL
