Sell to Carmax?
 

Has anyone ever had any experience selling a car to Carmax? I am just wondering if it is worth my while to sell my van to them, since new car dealers want to rape me over trade-in.

I sold the RX8 to them and got more than I paid for the car. It's all luck of the draw. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

your best bet is to ALWAYS sell it outright but it takes forever.

Yeah, I know about that. I just object to having a dealer tell me he can only get me $4300 for it like he is doing me a favor, when I can look up the value on KBB and know they are full of it. I'm going to call Carmax on Monday and see if they want to look at the van.
