Satellite Internet?

Anyone had experience with this? I am having it installed next week. Using Starband as the isp. no more dial-up woot!!!!

Slow as dialup if you're using a VPN, otherwise its ok.

dont plan on using VPN :) - just wanna be able to get on the 'net from home! - no gaming or anything fancy

I had it for about six months, you can play games on it worth shit but other than that it wasnt bad at all

yah, heard "twitch" games are crap on it.. but mainly plan on us'n it for business/surf'n net - should be a problem.... and it's either... dialup / satellite - no other choices.
