Same sh!t, different locale.....
Well, we're in the new house! Not completely moved from our apartment just yet, but the cable internet connection and TV got hooked up today (digital cable service too - oh, so cool!!), and I'm writing this from my new home office!
It's these kind of things that make it start to feel like home......now if I don't get off the 'puter and get back to cleaning/unpacking, etc., the wife is gonna have my head..... ~HH |
lol, good to hear everything went well. Hey, can you post that picture that you took of that thunder when you were on your honeymoon? I can't find it

how do you get pics like that timed so well??? Just have a crazy fast reflex or leave the shutter open for a few seconds/minutes.

So during distant thunderstorms (trust me, those storms are waaaaay further than they look), I would set the camera pointing in the direction of the storm, with the shutter setting on the 8 second (longest) speed. Sit the cam on a solid surface (table, wall, etc), hit the shutter really carefully (so as not to shake the camera and get a blurred image) and hope for a strike while the shutter is open. Out of about 200 attempts, these three were the only real keepers. ~HH |
You should have lied and just told him you have "uber-ninja" reflexes. ;)
