Because of all the custom work that went into this project, I'd like to have seen the guy go all out and get an RB power plant but, whatever.

There was a dude that ran the track down by me that stuffed a supra engine in a 3rd gen 7. very fast, 10.845 street legal, or so the inspection sticker claims.

but to put something other than a rotary in a 7...................... thats just wrong

The only thing I didn't understand is why not just start with a S13 or something. If you want SR power, get a car that fits into nicely. If you want a FD, deal with the rotary.

well, I would say better handling but, both have aftermarket support to equalize things. maybe looks. FD's are beautiful.

If he blew up his engine, would it be cheaper to replace it with the SR? Or maybe this whole SR thing IS getting out of hand......

I don't understand why he chose that 62-1 turbo either.

Some guy up here in Alaska is swaping a Chevy V8 into a 7.
