I was talking about the mazdaspeed protege. I know regular proteges are a lot cheaper. I can get a brand new one for 13 grand. You get a lot more bang for your buck than the civic folk. in my opinion. But shouldn't the civic be cheaper? I mean considering so many people are buying them...

Yeah they are cheaper than a MSP. Sorry I thought you were refering to the rest of the Protege line up. A lot of people get them because they have so many companies that make aftermarket parts and are easy to work on according to a guy I know. He had a turbo put in his Toyo truck and blew the thing up racing an Acura GSR. There goes a few thousand down the drain! He now has an older Civic hatch (lighter than the sedan) base model which he plans on ordering a Type-R Acura engine from overseas. Talk about mucho dinero!! That is his hobby and he knows his shit when it comes to souping it up. Expensive hobby though!:rolleyes: I like many of us hear always pick the expensive hobbies that are of interest! :p

man, i can't even imagine what is like to loose a car you love
but, now you can get something better such as
a mazda 6 or a RX8:D
