RIP to my car

:crying: my car :crying: has been written off :crying:

moms called me today and told me "got some bad news for ya."
i said "man no not one of the dogs" "nope it's betsy" from then i knew she meant something wrong with my car. basically the underbody is what got the most damage and the front wheels pushed back a little bit. but the mechanic haven't given the insurance company an estimate yet but i still fear it's written off

:crying:

RIP betsy!

How did you wreck the car? Sorry in the dark here. That sucks, but if you can find one similar, perhaps you can salvage parts from Betsy. At least you know it inside and out.

No you didn't!! :D Speaking of Civics, you can *cough* win a SI one decked out with mods on www.ImportTuner.com You can register every day if you want including for the tires! Now why would some one want to do that? <To sell and get a MSP?!>:p

TaiMaiShu Sep 3, 2003 10:09 PM

I think you'll still have to fork out a few thousand dollars on trade. Civics are a bit cheaper.

Welcome to the club.

:tear:

I, for one, am really considering a Miata.

Proteges are great, Miatas are bettar!

I looked at a LX and EX Civic back when I purchased my Protege, but they were a lot more pricey than the Proteges and didn't see paying extra for less zip and sporty looks on a Civic compared to the Protege. Plus I can fit in a Pro unlike the older Civics. The newer ones, I never test drove. I just looked at the price tag and thought FORGET THAT! :p I wanted the MP5 and it was out of my price range. I was about to leave the dealership when I test drove the ES sedan and fell in love and bought it. It still had the white sticker wraps on the hood and roof. It wasn't even badged with the dealer's name (otherwise, it would have come off any way!) I can say that I am happy although I miss being up off the ground and see past the car in front of me. This time of year with the gas prices, I am definitely glad for a 4 cylinder!!!
