Rant....
 

This morning on my in & out of traffic routine, I got yanked by a motorbike cop.
I was going pretty quick southbound on 85 and I got behind a cop bike…couldn’t tell til I was past him that he was a sherrif….the guy lit me up and that was it.

First thing he says is:
License, registration & insurance. I hand it to him. He starts walking back and another car stops….the guy gets out, I look in my left side view mirror….he’s got a huge Federal Gov’ badge. He pulls the cop away, says something and then bounces. Fuck I say to myself. (I recognized the car and I blew past him earlier and he probably saw me zoom-zooming in & out of traffic).
Cop walks back and here’s the line he gives me: I wanna know what you were thinking when you decided to drive this morning? I was doing 80 and you blew right past me. If I was doing 80…how fast do you think YOU were going? He didn’t even give me an opportunity to respond. He goes, I just want you to know that you have a lot coming your way. He rattles off the following list: Reckless Driving, speeding 25 mph over the posted limit, improper lane change, improper signal, improper passing, following too close. I was like oh shit!

So I say:
Officer, am I going to jail today?
He looks at me….stone-faced and walks away. He comes back and says sign here….one signature and $143 later…I’m still on the street….let’s go insurance *raise the roof*.

Scott was doing warp 12 through Texas on the way back from S.A. and he got pulled too. He was like, "yes sir" and "no sir" and "thank you sir". No ticket :cool:

You would think the po-po would have given him a bunch of tickets, since we were in the Nanner...but no, he probably felt sorry for the "old kids".

im not gonna go on about my po-po experiences...they can be such a drag tho...my girlfriends dad is a retired PA state trooper, so I;m hoping to get on his good side and try and get one of those get out of jail free cards lol

I was doing about 90 when I shot past him. his bike had no decals or anything....he just had the stars on the side and a itsy-bitsy M.S.D decal on his helmet. Ugh, If I was in uniform, I would have probably gotten out of it.....but no, the day I decide to wear shorts and a white tee and bring my uniform in...I get yanked....no more.

And Karen...I said yes sir/no sir...I believe I would've gotten off since he said he was doing 80 also...but when Dick Head Fred the Fed showed up...that's when i knew.

that happens around here too, you NEVER see a car stopped by ONE cop... other ones have to join the orgy.
