Rackin' up the mileage!!

Sheesh! It came in yesterday... it had 2 clicks on it... after prep, etc I picked it up late this evening.... the dealer added 9kms....filled it up... then wouldn't ya know it... we got a snow storm happenin' (btw: fog lights work great! :bt: ) driving home... ABS works great too on ice... heater works like the dickens!... now she's home tucked in warm in my double garage next to my Ninja...and the wife's Jeep... with 16 kilometres on it.

Tomorrow is a new day!...Like the song says: "Head out on the highway... lookin' for adventure... born to be wild..." Luv my new P5.... can ya tell?

Damn! You got to test your baby in snow already!!! Glad to hear it went well. Hopefully mine works just as well without ABS. Luckily you have a garage too. I just wish I did! Hope you're out driving around, having fun, cause that's what these cars are made for!

Congratulations on the new purchase.

they are fun to drive... 2200 miles in 37 days:)

gi_jason82 November-29th-2001 12:49 AM

144,460 something, she's still ticking! Pulling stong, I can manage 0-60 in 7.9 seconds, according to my friend's G-Tech. Car looks good too! Take care of your car and she'll be in for the long haul, or boost it and it'll make some serious power. Whatever floats yer boat.:blue:

There ya go! Mine just turned over 130,000. Still purrs like a kitten. Haven't done a solitary thing to her that isn't routine or wear and tear. She still has plenty left in her. :) I wouldn't let her go for anything.

Like GI said, treat her well, and she'll treat you well.

its an old one... 1990 with 30000 k's on it... blue ... only put 3000 kilometres on it this summer... usually do Glacier Mountain National Park... Logans Pass... Going to the Sun Road. Rated one of the top 10 scenic roads in the world! I like to do the Pacific Coast highway often too! Wife still lets me keep it! god love her!
I had a 1985 ZX-6 too.... before that a Yamaha RD200 ...bought all of them new. In '86 took my first Ninja overseas and did central europe for 3 weeks... it was a blast.

Now have to do...the North american highways in my new 5!

Warning! do not drive thru Saskatchewan. Very dangerous!
You'll fall asleep at the wheel! No turns!!
:p
