R.i.p.
Well, for starters I am new to the pro.But I fell in love with the surprising get-up this little car had.So being the redneck that I am I started making the get-up get up faster. And faster.
My(Strong93DX)took out a few Civics,a prelude once.A couple of neons, and a cavalier. My best kill a 97 stock rs(aouto matic)he underestimated me.Butt a kill is a kill. But last night as I pulled up to a light on my way home.A lowrider S-10 pulled up and revvvvved at me.So what the hell it was late no-one out that end of town. I nodded. Lets go,and I opened up the glove box where I keep my 1 liter of nitro.I know that it's dangerous but like I said I am a redneck. The light turns green we're off.But I don't make it very far 5500rpm or so BOOM,POW,BANG.You know like an old episode of batman.Well needless to say I am very distraught because I really loved this little car, just the way it was. Now,what to do?Should I go with the so bragged about DOHC or say screw it an get an RX 7 and take out the rest of those Hondas. Thanks for having a place where i can get this traggic time off my chest. |
Seeing as how you have the chassis already, great time to upgrade to BP, turbo, fuel management, etc. The RX7 would be killer but so would the cost. You have to find someone will to let their's go then you have to maintain it properly as well. Its like a diesel MB, you have to be a car lover to work on and enjoy the car.
Just curious, how much NOS were you running and when did u apply it. |

i'd go with the kl-ze twin turbo like A-spec is trying to do in canada. i dont know how far they've gotten or if they blew it up already. but stick with the 93 and it will continue to kick ass once its up and running again.
i dont know if i'm gunna go for the tein, but thats gunna be my project as soon as i get the cash. -Jason |
Thanks
I was wondering though,is there a turbo kit for the DOHC.Or are there any bigger or better engines for this car.Do any of the jdm turbo engines fit right in there with out alot of modification.

the Kl-ze engine is a direct bolt in, its a 2.5l v6 engine i believe.
