I could no doubt fit my hand into the end of the muffler, the tip is 4.5".

I actually wanted a smaller one but talked to some people and found out that the smaller ones have a higher "zing" tone to them and I did not want that. This muffler has a deep low sound to it.

Thats about how mine sounds until about 3500 - 4000 then it starts to act like the fast and the furious green eclipse...

4.5" is huge......at least my wife says so!

My MS muffler is 4" and I think it's perfect. It's just big enough to let people know I have an aftermarket muffler and small enough that it doesn't look out of place.

I am still getting used to it.......kind of mixed feelings to tell you the truth.

i think it looks fine,. you should have it straightened up though. I can't believe they charged you $75 just to weld it though.

I thought you paid $75 for the muffler and welding it on. I've seen mufflers like that sell for $49 all day long online.

I paid somewhere in the 70-80 range at NOPI.com, and had it welded in my a muffler shop as I said.

Anyway, I looked carefully and it looks like he had to tilt it down because of the girth of the muffler.

with a little more effort he could've added a slight bend to the stock exhaust to lower the new muffler but keep it at the appropriate angle.

looks good though.

I have an Aftermarket Muffler too which has an end tip of 4.5 I mean that thang is huge. But from an angle it looks good. Just not sure how she would look on my Pro.

My wife says it makes the car sound like a "dirt head" car.

Whatever that means.
