I'm so &*&king pissed today. First I had an proposal I had to work overnight on, go to school, run late because of some stupid traffic jam that never occurs but somehow today occured. Then after school go to the Shell coin-op wash. The thing was screwed, no soap coming out from the brush and some retard before me twisted the hose into 50 something knots so it tangle and gets caught beneath the P5 at least 4 times. OK that's still fine, when I back out the stupid hose, which I put correctly on its holder frees because the stupid people at Shell don't know how to maintain the car washes, gets caught onto the right side mirror without my knowledge and I hear this SNAP~!, I said to myself Oh S^&*! Get out and find the mirror on the ground 5 feet away. And thats not all, after I finish washing the car, the sunny, warm and bright weather suddenly all goes away and it f&*King snows. This has to be one of the best days of my life! I swear I'm going to claim damages from Shell, or I will sue the crap out of them, for neglience in maintaining safe facilities. I slipped on their floor several times and almost had a 1/2 inch thick wall of ice formed on the wall almost hit the car, luckily I got thee in time and smashed it apart with the brush. They will get a class action from my lawyer soon.

I used to have days like that... they gave me some Prozac...

Welcome to the real world. This stuff is guaranteed to happen to everyone. The challenge is how we handle it. Or in your case, if you handle it or just cry. :shrug:

As you can see your not going to get any sympathy. You fucked up your car due to your own stupidity and you want us to feel bad for you. And then you want to sue. For what emotional distress and the $ foe a mirror. You spend more going through court. Just go to a different wash. :crying: :crying: :crying:

OK, so the hose just jumped out and wrapped around the mirror just the right way just as he was pulling out? I don't think so.
Maybe someone should pay more attention before putting car in gear. But I did something similar once with a concrete pole at work. But I only blame myself. It was quite a sick noise... $400 (CDN) later (for just the mirror, the labour was mine) everything was fine again...

Ok, that seems a bit over the top. Calm down people. Sorry you had a shitty day. But, sueing will not get you anywhere.. as it was cold.. and you went to a car wash. cold weather and water = ice. deal with it. just be more careful next time and go to a different wash.

1.you have someone complaining about ice when he should know that cold +water=ice..
2.hes the one that was not paying attention to what he was doing.
3.he wants to sue because he broke his mirror..
come on man did he actually think people would agree with him,i mean i actually felt dumber after i read his thread(jk)...

oh yea and if i did something that stupid i would not tell anyone ..i would probobly make up some story about racing down the freeway at 250 mph and all the lanes blocked off by a police barracade,and having to squeeze between a cop car and the edge of a bridge with no sides on it to avoid a spike strip,and the mirror got shot off by the cops shotgun......sheesh no imagination;)
