i'm just wondering if anyone has any funny pet peeves/rules relating to passengers in your ride.

i can't stand GAWKING...

maybe i'm too used to cruising without anyone in my car, but if another vehicle wants to play, i can't stand my passenger craning their head to gawk back or beside at the other vehicle...
reminds me of when you say "don't look over there but blah blah blah" and they LOOK really obviously

my other is my stereo.

yes, i spent a nice chunk of cash on it, and i like it LOUD. passengers that consistently get in my car and want to "talk" drive me nuts...thats why they invented "coffee". plus, do NOT change my settings..... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! i've left someone in my car when i run in somewhere to grab something just to come out and find they've fucked up my equalizer and turned down my subs.

my biggest thing is the stereo. i paid a good ammount for it too, and i agree, it needs to be loud. i hate when people get in my car and insist on jumping on their cell phones and yellin at me to turn my stereo down. i usually tell him to go fly a kite or something more rude, and turn it up louder. they either learn to talk to themselves, or don't talk at all. i keep my car clean, and i absolutely friggin hate fingerprints on the god damned tint. why do they insist on putting their nasty ass oily paws on my tint? THE TINT? it hasn't been a problem except for one time in the year and a half i've had my car.. smokers. every one knows i dont smoke, and they know not to smoke in my car... yet i come back to my car the other night after leaving the stereo on so people could listen to it, and i see the fucking moron in the passenger seat, smokin a cigarette with the doors closed. needless to say, i went ballistic on the kid and told him to get the fuck out of my car.

most people that smoke don't light up in someones car without asking first usually...that was pretty gutsy/stupid on that persons part...

and do you also notice that the passenger floor mats are always dirtier than the drivers side? yet i'm in my car solo alot more than with people...DIRTY people at that.

and while i'm on the subject, has anyone found a solution to shifting car mats? i bought new ones this year from the dealer, and they slide all over. i've had a few people almost wipe out getting in/out of the car...its brutal.

I hate it when my dad borrows the car and turn's oldies 1310 on the radio and leaves it on that station when he gets out of the car

Passenger? whats that? :D Only passenger I have 99% of the time is my GF, sometimes i take my car friends places, but they are cool :)

What bothers me the most is when someone gets in or gets out of my car and SLAMS the door as hard as they can.

Once a friend inadvertently did it about three times while we were cruising around town before I finally told him that this wasn't the WWF so stop slamming my car's damn door.

Other than that, most folks I carry around have very good manners.

Oh, no food inside my car since it's still fairly new. If we carry left overs from a restaurant and I'm driving my car, then the take-out box goes in the trunk. Can't stand the stink that is left behind. I don't mind the trunk stinking up if necessary.

the rear mats are the only ones that move a little. the fronts never move. but i've noticed that the passenger side is always dirty, even though i'm in my car solo a lot more than with passengers. even the seat itself gets a little bit dirty. filthy ass passengers :[ as for slamming the doors... i just want to find a nice curb and do the same to person who just slammed my damn door. our doors weigh like half a lb when closing them... not like some old ass tank of a car which you have to get a running start to move the door. blah! makes me mad thinking about it!! :mad:

my peeves....

1. the tunes....its my ride...they are MY tunes....and if you don't like what I am listening to...or the volume....there is a door to exit from...

2. food....NO FOOD ALLOWED in the car....or drinks for that matter...if we are out cruisin...and we are hungry or thirsty....there are plenty of hangouts to stop and get a bite or something to drink..

3. smokers....plain and simple...you do NOT light up in my ride, that is the fastest way to find your self standing on the curb looking for another ride.

the "shifting" floor mats....get some velcrow and attach one half to the bottom of the floor matt and the other half to the floor....then stick them down. works pretty good.

As for mats, I got these rubber ones from Wall-Mart.... they come in different combinations with black.... I got yellow/black version and it's really easy to clean.

I hate it when people turn my Bass up, and mess around with settings too....

I gave this fool a ride (mommy and daddy bought him an S2000 for his 16th B-day and he thinks he is the god of all cars) and he was playing with my boost controller! We were about 20 miles away from our home town and bout 20 miles away from the cruise spot, I dropped his ass off. He "hates" me now and talks all this shit, but who cares? :D I hate dumbass ricers :mad:

1. my sounds. operative word being "my". don't touch.
2. cell phones. wtf? is your life so important that you have to be on the phone in my car, causing me to turn down my sounds? (gotta be polite!)
3. my gf's friends who are always yakking from the back seat.

not much else, cause most of the time my friends respect me and know not to piss me off. my gf's friend's however is a different story. :rolleyes:

S2000 a ricer?? OK. It handles better than a Boxter and cost 20g less. I would take one!!

I hate it when people get out and don't close the door all the way and then use their hip to close it.
Feet on the dash.
Treat my car like it is their old POS and don't repect it.
ANYONE leaning on my car. That gets an ass whoopin!!!
People who park WAY too close.
And, WHOOPS, that is always a good word to here from your passenger.

NEVER EVER touch the dial to the radio, i'm a punk and i love my loud punk music. dont like it, dont ride with me.
oh ya and if u eat, smoke in my car or mess up my car in anyway, u better be able to run faster than i can drive over you.

my passenger rules:

1. NO SMOKING. Good thing everyone I know is a nonsmoker, so I don't have to enforce this rule yet.

2. No feet on dash. I did have enforce this a while back. Also no crossing legs on the front seat and have their footprint on the dash :mad:

3. DO NOT TOUCH the stereo unless I tell you to.

4. Eating in car. Only things allowed are fries, hand snacks that don't flake all over the place, and covered container beverages.

5. DO NOT SLAM MY DOOR!!! I'm gonna have to enforce this much more often. My roommates always slam my door and I always tell them, 'what the hell are you doing?' and they still do it!!! :mad: :mad:

6. Talking and cellphones: I'm fine with that as long as they don't interfere with my driving. I do turn down the volume voluntarily as a kind gesture. A couple quick corners and a fast onramp run usually shut them up pretty good though :D

7. Seatbelts: I'm actually quite lenient on this compared to most people here. Backseat passengers I don't require them to wear them, and front passenger only when getting on highway. Other times it's their own decision. But they usually learn their lesson after slamming into the doors when I toss the car around a little bit :)

ya i'm a little anal, but i'm making payments, they arent, my older brother took my car once, and i got it back and it smelled like smoke, hasnt driven it since. i'm not letting his addiction effect my life. i treat my P5 like a little guy in green protects gold.
and its not like i'm anal about everything, just my car.

most shit, i tolerate, but get pissed about. but the one thing i won't tolerate, at all, in any circumstance... is people fucking with me while i drive, like grabbing my hat, shaking my seat, the stupid friggin morons who think it's funny to pull the e-brake WHILE DRIVING, i've left people on the road for this. johnny... there's a kid that drives a gsx that i chill with, who keeps sitting on my hood doing that same shit.. and i noticed today, that the corners are starting to get lower than the fenders. i was so ready to pop him in the mouth tonight. when you hear that tupperwear(sp) pop from people flexing the metal when sitting on it, i get really pissed off.

I just remembered what happened three months ago.

I'm driving and my friend honks at this station wagon that's a family and they got kids in the back. Okay, funny, hahaha, sure

We're in the drive-through, and they honk, so I go okay, that's fine too since we always close his power windows when he's about to get change in his Z24, I'll let it slide.

Same trip, and this is the third time (if anyone's counting) and they honk at some ugly ass chicks on the side.

So a block later I pull over and make all three of them sit in the back. It took about 20 minutes but I wasn't going to move from the parking lot until they all got in the back. So on my way back home (where they parked their cars), I drove with no-one in front and three guys squished in the back.

I will let select few girls smoke up with me in my car though, but no cigarettes. Drinking is okay too
Sex: Yes please! hehehe (still haven't tested my car after a year of having it :( )

damn im glad i dont have the friends that most of you do. shit we respect are friends shit. and about the stereo. i dont have to worry about them changing the settings. cuz they cant finger it out.

Mak: i would have made them sit in back. or get out.

1. never smoke in my car. (dumb shit XGF this means you too, stupid bitch! )
2. never leave garbage in my car (XGF did this more times than i can coun't)
3. never put your feet up on the dash (did this twice)
4. never take your socks off and put your feet up on the dash(did this 6 times)
5. never slam my door (did this 3+ times)
6. never park too close to my car (can't drive so i don't worry)
7. never steal stuff from my car (stole 3 of my cds)
8. never change the music or station unless i tell you (did this every time she got in the car and then when i changed it back she changed it again)
9. never treat the CD's or any of my CD's anywhere like crap (everytime she changed the cd)
10. never be abnoxious or anoying while in my car (every time she got in my car)

i only made these rules because i was sick and tired of that dumb bitch not giving any respect to me or my car
