One more quick note

Sorry to bring this up again but I got one more statement. This is for the quote that the man said about american cars and them being good for the soul purpose of straight line performance. I would heavily disagree. If you look at the numbers that the corvette, viper and more of the new american cars put out as far as handling is concerned, you would be suprised. Though I dont care for most american cars, pontiac Gp wide track has good numbers, so does the focus and focus SVT long with the SRT-4. I think that the US is coming through on building good performing vehicles. I respect your opinions The Man but I have done too much reading to support your claims.

You're misquoting Edwin. He never says that American cars cannot handle curves. Here's the quote:

yeah.. so the SRT is better in what way? POWER

I fail to see how the MSP is "inferior" in everyway to the SRT

time has shown that people who buy proteges don't care about straight line power.... they care about the handling

I'm actually glad you want to get an SRT if you wanted to just drag race with it, because if you bought an MSP, it would have been wasted

Like I said before... the typical American's definition of "fast"-- straight line acceleration times.... the typical American's definition of "racing"-- straight line acceleration times and running around an oval countless yet mindless times

I'd love to get my hands on one of those delicious Z06s. Best bang for your buck supercar (Performance/Practicality/Price Ratio)? Most definately. And yes, I think the Z06 is a supercar. 0-60 under 4 sec? Mmmmmyea!

Cruising the corvetteforums yesterday, a guy has a supercharger on his Z06, or maybe just a C5, got 32.6 MPG on a 1100 mile road trip, and still get's around 18mpg in town. Now THAT'S a super-car

since you brought it up again

By RHAGEL: According to CR, Chrysler is just as reliable as Mazda, with 20 problems per 100 vehicles. If Chrysler's are crap, guess Mazda is too.
BTW Hyundai was second after Toyota, with only 11 problems per 100 vehicles. Crap eh?
huh?
