anyone here ever had a Engine Oil Drain Valve

That looks pretty neat, but seeing how low my cars are I could see myself breaking that thing off and draining my oil on a beer run :D

seeing as how OUR drain plugs are sorta on the back of our sumps....that might not be a bad idea....until it starts to leak..lol

I think I will stick with my plug and seal washer. :{D

Fram makes a gadget like or similar to that....you screw it into your pan...then there is a cap that covers it...then when you want to drain your oil there is another piece that you screw on that has a hose attached and when you screw it on it opens the valve.....and no mess.....so the comercial says.
