Nurburgring Part II

Well this past Sunday me and a couple of buddies headed down to the Ring. For me this will be the my second time and a first for a couple others that went with us.

Last time I went to the Ring I was going for more of the "Ring" experience and less of the drive. This time with a few changes in my car, couple of hours of GT4, and a little more confidence, I went out to take down the Ring.

First off let me say the GT4 may look like the Ring but it doesnt help too much. I drove the Evo the hardest that I've ever taken her. More less my driver skills. Rebedding that pads actually works. Before I was having major problems with my brakes and now 120-30mph with no problems and no fade.

I made two runs and my second one was my best one. I only got pased by 3 cars and passed a 3000GT a Porsche(a big deal to me) and a hand full of BMWs. But it got really good when I caught up to a Z3 Coupe and he made me work for every little bit. Never got around him but it was he best run/race Ive ever had in my Evo.

May not be important to others but just thougt Id share.

DAMN, j00 lucky b33tch!! lol j/k

Sounds like an awesome time! I'd love to go to a good, well known track, but there arent many around me, let alone THE RING! But if anybody is a drag fan, Englishtown Raceway Park is only about half an hour away and their finishing up their road course...CANT WAIT!!

Heard quite a bit about Englishtown, but didnt know bout the road course....very interesting.

English town's gonna have a road course! Wha why wasn't I informed. That should be awsome. We really have no road courses in jersey.

So anyway very cool with the evo. You should try forza its said that pros actually use it in there off season to practice for races. Just keep wooping thouse bmw's!

Click on "Road Course" on the menu on the left side....Not as good as the ring or other courses, but better than nothing! And it will be very close to me!

I dirtbike too and that track right next to the road course is mighty fun to ride!!

LOL we tried it but my passenger was too scared to hold it :cookoo: Plus its illegal to film on the Ring. So if they see it they will make you put it in the trunk.
