Nissan Sentra SE-R front lip question.

I know this isn't Mazda related but input would be nice. I was wondering what you all thought about this front lip for my 03 SE-R? Its a replica of the NISMO piece that goes for $500.

By the way I really like this forum. I'm on the Sentra forums and the users like to flame and be trolls.

i like it, but if i were putting it on my car, i'd want some sort of sideskirts and/or rear fascia to continue the lower body line of the car. it looks kind of odd right now because the bumer sits several inches lower than the side of the car.

You Protege owners are lucky with the MP3 and MSP bodykits will fit your cars. Nissan really doesn't have a bodykit for the SE-R and SPECV as of yet. Nismo is really overpriced for me.

How about this kit in the pics

Heres this kit on a member's from www.b15sentra.com

What do you all think?

5SpeedP5 July-9th-2003 03:02 PM

personally i dont like it too much, but then again i dont like many lips/bodykits for the new se-r.... though i always feel that stillen puts out good stuff...

Bruce95fmla July-9th-2003 05:45 PM

well I would have to say it is a toss up , cause on one end I think it looks like shit ...
but
then on the other end ... If you got it molded in with the bumper and then painted to match ... I think it might actually look decent ...
hmm..

Hey Bruce95fmla I see you were at the Hot Import Nights show June 28 at Bayside Expo in Boston. I saw that SE-R and I really didn't care for it. Did you see the APC SE-R in Nismo's display? Pretty cheesy!!!

Foxymazda My friend has a Yellow SpecV with the Stillen bodykit and its ok.

Mikeyb July-10th-2003 10:53 AM

I would something more like add on not complete replacements like this http://www.cardomain.com/id/piopio

The Stillen or Onderground? I really like the bodykit on the black Spec. If my Sentra was a 2.5 le or GXE I would do the Stillen lip.

Every kid that buys a Nissan at our store pours over my desk because I have a bunch of pics like that on it. They all want to know where its from and all.

1 of the Nissan Dealers I deal with is selling Stillen. I don't know what their going to do when NISMO arrives. They had a 03 Specv with all the available Stillen parts of it for sale. It looked awesome but theres to many Stillen Specvs around town.

JustinMP3 July-10th-2003 05:26 PM

Damn those pics are nice, I want a spec V....... Too!!

NISMO has S tune, R tune, and L tune. S tune has a 12 month warranty and the other R tune and L tune dosen;t have warranties. And as for voiding factory warranty thats why I want NISMO. My dealer that works on my car doesn't like aftermarket mods.

what does this kid have? I think this looks good too.

That bodykit is a replica kit of the 02 and 03 World Challange SpecV racecar. The kit is manufactured by Soopid Parts.

Don't do the lip until you fix the ass end. There is nothing worse than a can that is 1 inch above the ground on the front and 10 inches on the back. You need to keep the lower body line or else it looks like a hack add-on, even if it was done well.

They want me to be in control of this NISMO shit at work but its pissing me off. Nissan keeps promising it and Im not seeing it. Meanwhile Ive got some Z owners who want chips for their car...

My selling dealer hasn't even recieved the catalog yet but the dealer I deal with at work has the catalog. Is there any markup from wholesale on NISMO or is it all Retail? What do you do? I sell BMW parts for Bavarian Autosport. http://www.bavauto.com

The only thing I know is what I was told which obviously wasn't much at all. I hate it when they do this to me. I didnt even know there was a catalog! Well thanks for the info.
Hey FoxyMazda I have a friend moving to Fla in acouple of weeks to go to grad school. I told him I would locate a Nissan dealer for him. He drives a 03 Sentra GXE. He is moving to FT Lauderdale. where aer you located? I wish I could get a job back to a dealer. What do you drive?

I agree with you on the rear of the SE-R. Nissan puts side skirts and a lower facia without a rear lower apron. What do you think of the black SE-R?
