New Mudvayne CD
 

Alright im into meatl music and i just picked up the new mudvayne cd called Lost and Found and it is awesome. But im a huge mudvayne fan i have their other 2 cds and tickets to their concert here in omaha may 15!!!! im excited. Anyone else get this cd????????

Nope. Not yet. Considering it though and mudvayne will be in san antonio April 27!!

They're ok. I've downloaded some of their stuff (legally) but haven't ever bought an entire cd.
Anyway, I think the days for shouting/shrieking death metal-type stuff are numbered.

I just picked up the new Stereophonics, that's very good.

And here's another one---I don't know if any of you are familiar with this band, they're called the Darkness. It came out at the end of '03 but the BBC has just picked up on them in the last few months. If any of you like old-school metal, you have to check them out. Rumbling Keith-Richards-type guitars, lots of guitar solos that sound suspiciously like C.C. Deville is playing them and a singer who uses any means necessary to hit a note.

yeah ive heard of the darkness their ok, im still a fan of bands like cradle of filth, hatebreed, linkin park, AFI, lostprophets, system of a down, etc. And i disagree rock will never die granted some genres are a little generic there will never be an end to metal, or rock

I got the Cd and its Fricken Great!!!!!!

Oh, I don't mean to say rock is dead. There are just too many sub-genres for that to happen. All I'm saying is, I think the current incarnation of really hard rock is dying out in popularity.
That's a good thing, because if it's going to change, or get better, it'll need to lay low for a few years.
Look at how many times punk has reinvented itself-at least twice that I know of--and look at how it's changed since the Sex Pistols.

I don't like too much hard rock. Some of it to me is just screaming **cough**slipknot**cough**. I like groups lioke orgy, audioslave,POD,system of a down. ect. I realy listen to all types of music. To me it's about the music. Being a musition myself I like to get in to the music. If it's just screaming all it sounds like is crap. Mudvayn Has a few songs that I think truely sow there musical talant. Groups like slipknot to me is just crap.

Oh and I ca't post this withouty giving tribute to my favorite group. The sex pistols. British groups always kick ass.

I like different types of rock but thats it,rap insults my intelligence with lil john the retard saying OK eight hundred times and talking about crunk juice which is just jeagermister. But i like sytem of a down and pod but System of a down is funny, like their song bounce hehehe it says pogo several times really fast.
