New MP3!!! For me!!!!
 

So, yesterday i purchased a new Protege MP3. Its not a real one, its a nitro powered HPI car. HA! 0 - 60 is much faster too! It has a .15fe engine. The actual speed is 68 mph. My friend is a ellis county sheriff. He clocked it for me. I just wanted to share with you, I thought it was pretty cool. They make a turbo kit for it also. LOL!.......Kaleb

Technically, it's not a "turbo kit" but a "turbo head". Basically, it just uses a different type of glow plug with a taper seal compared to the copper washer of the regular plugs. A fully decked out, race ready, 1/10 scale touring car will easily do closer to 80 mph. This would be with a 2 speed, automatic transmission, 1.2 hp nitromethonal burning engine & 4 wd for the handling of course. For anybody who's interested, check it out at HPI Racing. And for those who like shaft drive 4wd Nitro TC3. Trust me though, it can be a very expensive hobby.

Where did you find the MP3 body? I checked the HPI site and didn't see a Protege body anywhere. I'm looking for one.

I found mine on NitroR/C.com Got it from a guy on the forum. And?, so its not a real turbo. Who cares, its still neat as hell! Kinda sucks that itll top out quicker than my real baby.......Kaleb
