After reading about NFSU 2 I thought I would tell you about this...Has anyone read the new Modified mag?? there is some kind of new racing game that looks really good as in gameplay but i question the graphics that are on the site b/c in the magazine there aer some parts the look really really good like a lancer with a front mount intercooler and wing and stuff like that it looked really good.... here is a link to the site... www.SRSgame.com

I hate to burst your bubble but as a video game guru I feel it's my place to note that the Gamecube game "Rogue Leader'' (a launch title) still holds the record for most polygons per second with the highest framerates with most special effects. I don't think any game even comes close to touching it except the new "Rogue Squadron".

Rogue Leader--15million polys/sec, 60fps, bump mapping, dithering, anti-aliasing, shading, light mapping, partical effecting, etc...

GCN has a LOT of power in it. dare I say more than the xbox?! Just look at games like Resident evil 4 for GCN and Halo2. Both games are running in real time. Which one looks most real?

roddimus its all good, i was really joking, thats why i put the sticking tongue out smiley. :p all i knwo was that the specs (back when i was into this stuff, which was when they came out, after that i just got outta computers and all that stuff, and into cars)

its all good that the game cube holds this record, i still wouldn't want a camecube tho, i'd rather have a ps2 more than anything

but eitherway i was just noting that the game looked good, like in alot of games which run on alot of platforms, I (myself, only me, i'm nto saying anyone else) have seen that they tend to use videos made from teh xbox release, or screens from the xbox release.....

but none the less, i was really just commenting that the game does look good

with graphics set on the lowest possible setting :p (thats the only way i can run the game good lol, but it still looks good, even at this low setting)
