New email provider for me...

I have been getting spammed to death with Hotmail, so i'm trying somehting new. You can now get ahold of me at:

boxfrog.com

I have updated my profile, so this info is already there, but if you have me in your address books, please update them.

thanks.

Good plan... change your email address because of spam, but then post it on a public message board. hehe

Spam is outrageous on hotmail. It's sickening. Even when I got switched to attbi.com from home.com I started getting spammed immediately. Freakin companies will sell to anyone.

on hotmail you have the feature to seperate all mail that comes from someone that is not in your guestbook ,, you just have to go in the options section and set it , ofcourse if people send you shii that is not from someone in your addressbook then it will go in the junk mail ,, so you have to know your stuff

Hehehe, it's probably not us sending the spam.

Spammers have "SpamBots", automatic programs which scour newsgroups and forums (like this one) for email addresses in posts. Forums are a great source of email addresses for them. Best thing to do is change your addy again, and post it in a less obvious method like:

myemail
a-t
myserver
d-o-t
com

Something that the SpamBots can't see. :squint:

very ture and i have done this, but if i limit myself to already known email addys, then those who don't know me get sent to the junk folder, in where i have sift through 100s of messages to find the good ones...if i don't check my mail everyday, my junk box fills up FAST...200 in just 2 days, which inturn fills my hotmail allowed space, thus preventing others from getting through AND hotmial has deleted my entire inbox 5 times because of this...sux to lose all those messages.......
