I'd take the Golf GTI any day, and the new Lancer looks good to me. No idea about it's specs, but hell I'd take it.

I think the Lancer looks like a new sunfire at the angle in the first pic... At least the grill does... puke puke puke ugly.
It's cool that GM is strapping the SCs on their engines, but the 3.8l is a dinosaur of an engine, and they haven't even topped Nissan's 3.5l VQ engine that's NA in terms of HP. I think the GTP (one of the first modern GMs that they SCed) were about 230hp stock or something where a new maxima, altima, and 350z (share engine platform) all make more than that NA with .3 less liters of displacement... At least they're trying I guess, hehe... That GTI is gorgeous by the way, I've always had a soft-spot in my heart for those GTIs :) |
o ya i would take the GTI, i like those cars all around, but as you know the protege would be so #1 on my list :)

Rabbit!
The Rabbit! Alright!! Even if it's just in name, it's cool to see VW bringing that back. For its time the original Rabbit, the diesel version, was actually a reasonably good car. The gasoline version might have been quick and fun, but it sure as hell wasn't reliable...
I expect the new "Rabbit" to follow suit in typical VW mediocrity. That said, I consider VW interior design the best in the industry-- The interior of the GTI looks awesome! |
hell ya i agree by far the interior is/ looks hot high class rich inner with out the high class $45,000 being paid!
