Congratulations Travis. Little girls are great, we have an 8 month old. Always thought I wanted a boy, but am so glad we have a girl. Enjoy every minute you have with her, she is only going to be this way once.

take it from someone who knows....I have three....ALWAYS let them know you love them....tell them all the time....its easy now when they are little....but as they get older and start to press you it gets harder....just remember....they are learning....never let them forget you love them with all your heart....no matter what.

another observation as a father of three.....you spend the first year of their life trying to get them to walk and talk...and you spend he rest of it telling them to "SIT DOWN AND SHUT-UP!!" LOL LOL

It seems I had my boy yesterday,and he's already saying ''mama'' and ''yaya'' as papa...hahaha
take it easy and appreciate every moment of it.
I like to smile at my boy and look into his eyes,and tell him I love him all the time..its a real contact between our two hearts...beautiful:)

Thank you all. Yes this is my first, and even though it hit me by surprise I am loving every minute of it! I love my daughter more than anything else, and have gained responsibility rather quickly hehe. I think people make out the whole "having a child is expensive/a lot" to be more than it is. I can't wait til she gets older and brings home guys with tattoo's, what a better time to break in my new rifle? :D She is definately going to be a racer, and I actually have plans to build up a car with her when she gets older (if she is interested). Dang, I stayed up way too late last night, I am gonna have to come back later and look at my posts to see if I messed up or said something stupid hehe

hehe I have thought about entering her into kart racing, but we will see how my career goes when I graduate from Tech School :)

For my daughters first Christmas she got a vett from great grandpa, she still hasn't understood what the steering wheel does yet.
